Autolift 5 Year Warranty


Autolift
guarantees all of their products to be free from any faulty material or workmanship for a period of 5 years (60 calendar months) subject to the conditions set out below.

First Year

» The period of warranty commences from the date of manufacture, i.e. the date » on the test certificate.
» All claims should be notified to Autolift who will authorise neccessary repairs.
» Autolift is in no circumstances liable for any consequential or other loss or
» damage arising through any defect in our product.
» If a site visit is made by Autolift and the malfunction is due to misuse, wear
» and tear, neglect, improper adjustment etc., the repair will be charged at list
» price for components used, labour and travelling costs.

2 - 5 Years

» Autolifts liability is limited to the replacement of parts found to be defective
» within the prescribed period (48 months, starting from the expiry date of the
» first year warranty) arising solely from faulty material or bad workmanship in
» the products of our own manufacture, properly used solely for the purposes
» for which they were designed and intended and not due to wear and tear,
» misuse, neglect or improper adjustment.
» All claims should be notified to Autolift in writing, using the 'fault analysis"
» form to be supplied by Autolift. The faulty item(s) should be returned to
» Autolift for repair or replacement, which will then be returned to the customer
» with fitting instructions. Should the problem be found to be as a result of wear
» and tear, misuse, neglect or improper adjustment, a charge will be made for
» the work carried out.
» Should the entire unit be returned; Autolift requires the equipment to be
» returned on its original transportation legs where applicable.
» Autolift is not liable for any transportation costs involved.
» Autolift is in no circumstances liable for any consequential or other loss or
» damage arising through any defect in our product.
» Autolift will not supply loan units whilst warranty repairs are carried out.

Warranty Procedure

End user fills in fault analysis form supplied by Autolift to enable us to identify the exact nature of the problem. Forms are available on request by either telephoning or email request to the address/details below.
